SV not working via link...anyone else?

Hi, I am total n00b at this, and was wondering if anyone could help me with a SW problem.

I installed everything according to the directions using the Manual setup - used GoLive and notepad to configure everything. It works great when I enter the full address into the address bar in IE and Firefox, BUT when I click on a link to the page (it's a gallery page), it loads but with no thumbnails and no images. It's as if it's not picking up the data from the gallery.xml file, but it's all in the same directory so it should work fine....... I'm pulling my hair out with this one!

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Perhaps I ought to clarify a few things. First, this isn't for Wordpress, it's my own page.
Second, what I mean by not displaying the images after linking is not the X's one would get with bad filenames in the gallery file. What is displaying are the boxes that should have the thumbnails in them but they are empty and unclickable.

Sound like the images have not been transfered correctly. Can you open them in the browser?
