Need Help

  1. Hi, I need help getting simpleviewer to work. I get the following error message:

The following directory does not exist - please create it and upload your images to subdirectories of it: /public_html/index/wp-content/photos/

I'm not sure where my problem is, but I can't get this work. I have been messing around with FTP and directories for a few hours now. What is the difference between the URL to images directory and the Path to images directory under the Directory Settings for configuring simpleviewer?

I have my images in a subdirectory named digital at the following location:
    /public_html/index/wp-content/photos/

The digital folder is set to 777. I'm not sure where my wires are crossed and would appreciate some help. Thanks for your time.

  2. The path to the images directory should be correct as you have it configured (/public_html/index/wp-content/photos/). The URL is the address that you enter to open this directory in your Browser (like http://www.yoururl.com/wp-content/photos).

This directory must be readable for the plugin/webserver on your system, but aparently it is not: /public_html/index/wp-content/photos/ Are the permissions of this folder ok? 744 should be fine, 777 is only required for subfolders like digital.
