    Hello,

I've read through all the posts I could find on the topic but to no avail...

no1. I got the infamous "GD library version 2 or later is required. You are running version: bundled (2.0.34 compatible)", and following the installation instructions I removed the '//' and played with the size, and yet, no change. Thumbs are created, but each time and for each gallery I get the same notification. However, in the recent post at: http://wp-simpleviewer.fuggi82.de/topic/error-when-creating-a-gallery?replies=2#post-2094 it reads that this isn't a problem. So, I should just disregard this notification? Should I put back the '//'?

no2. image size: how on earth can I make my main image appear larger? it's almost to say tiny. I've changed the Max image size to 1500 from 400, and it didn't do a thing, although the original images were up to 3000xsomethin' px in size.

    Help?
Does the choice of wp theme make any difference? I've tried several and still no luck.

  2. If you just get the notification GD library version 2 or later is required. You are running version: bundled (2.0.34 compatible) that's fine, no need to worry. It does not mean anything is not ok and if the images are created you can disregard it.

The size of your gallery depends on the theme and how some other settings in the gallery (like frameborder, stagepadding etc. just play arround with them a bit to see the effect when changing them.

    Phew, thanks!
I tried to meddle a bit with the gallery settings you mention, but that didn't help at all. Are there some themes you could recommend that are more suitable for sv?

  4. No, I don't have recommendation, just try to search wordpress.org for a theme with a bigger width. Maybe you can post recommendations here if you find some good themes!

So I'm having this same problem as this person. Can't make the main image of my SimpleViewer larger in my WordPress posts and pages. Same images showed up much larger when I posted them via other viewers (ie. AutoViewer) using the same WP theme and all the same gallery settings. I have changed width and height parameters everywhere I could but unsuccessful. The image remains the same small size (not as small as a thumbnail image but much smaller than a typical slideshow image.)

    Suggestions appreciated!

  6. Do you have a URL to test this?

  7. This is a great plugin but I am having the following troubles:

    1. I am running WP2.9 with a theme from Graph Paper Press. The main images are appearing much too small. Irregardless of the files dimensions when uploaded the files appear on screen much to small for my liking. You can see a the page I am testing here ยป

Is there any way to increase the size of the main image? If so how?

    Thank you,

  8. There is a settings that is called max image dimension. And you can change the other values like stagepadding etc to see how they influence the way the gallery is displayed.

  9. I am also having the same problem! Does anyone have this solution? Because it's annoying to have the thumbnail and then another image size a little larger but still very much smaller than the original. I'm about to leave the plug because of that!

  10. It is all in your gallery and theme options/codings. Just play arround with it!
