Gallery Not Found

(8 posts)

  1. Hello,

I was hoping someone could help me figure out why this says Gallery Not Found.

    http://tinyurl.com/ozno5e

I have a folder named work inside the photos folder. They are both set to 777. The XML gallery has been created. There are not, however, thumbnails showing up in the set up page. Not sure if that's relevant or not.

Let me know if you need more info to figure this out.

    Thanks!

  2. You say the XML has been created but it is not accessible via the URL: http://amdesignworks.com/wp-content/photos/work/gallery.xml

Can you check why this is not working?

  3. I don't know how to check to see why it's not working. But I clicked the "Create gallery for this folder" button and got this message:

GD library version 2 or later is required. You are running version: bundled (2.0.28 compatible)

Now the images and XML file for the selected folder will be created:

Now I am working on file Annie in the Sink.jpg:
I have created the regular image and the thumbnail and now it has been added to the XML file!
Now I am working on file El Capitan.jpg:
I have created the regular image and the thumbnail and now it has been added to the XML file!
Now I am working on file creek1.jpg:
I have created the regular image and the thumbnail and now it has been added to the XML file!

    Yeah, we are done!

And I get the same result. Can you let me know what I should check?

  4. Just an additional piece of info...

I'm looking at the directory with my ftp and I see the xml file there. So, I wonder why you can't view the file when you visit the direct link??

  5. If it is in the folder when you check it via ftp but not when you call the URL directly there might be a problem with your htaccess file.
