    Hi,

I am a total newbie and have banged my head against the wall for the past 3 days trying out various options (qdig, wpg2, jalbum/fotopage) to set up nice, well integrated photo albums in my daughter's WordPress blog. I can't believe that I am having so many problems!

Having said all that, I've downgraded back to the latest (Wordpress 2.3.3 -- I was trying out WP 2.5 to see if the gallery support was any better (nope!)).

I cannot figure out how to "configure the options page" for WP-SimpleViewer.

When I browse to "http://domain.com/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-simpleviewer/wp-simpleviewer-admin.php" nothing happens (though I can see the file there via my ftp client).

When I try "http://domain.com/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-simpleviewer/wp-simpleviewer.php", I get: Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_action() in /home/content/s/a/m/sam/html/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-simpleviewer/wp-simpleviewer.php on line 38

BTW, I tried searching both files for the line "iniset" and "memorylimit" as the wp-simpleviewer faq mentioned, and that line can't be found in either.

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong....

    Thank you.

    Yahoo!!!!

    Markus,

I noticed that in some of your posts you mentioned an upated plugin...wp-viewer 1.2. I installed that one, and everything appears to be working now! (although Wordpress wants to "upgrade" me to v. 1.1.3)

I have lots of questions, but I'll post those in other areas as appropriate after I've played around with the view more.

    Anyway, thanks for creating this!

  3. Great - you cannot access the php files directly, it's a WP plugin. Direct link to the options page would be: http://domain.com/blog/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wp-simpleviewer.php
