Error messages - hlep

  1. What am I doing wrong? I used picasa to create a gallery folder that I ftp'd to /home/'mylogin'/public_html/wp-content/photos/
It shows up fine and says 'XML file found, you can recreate or edit the gallery if you like'. But when I go to creat gallery files from this folder, this is the error message i get:

GD library version 2 or later is required. You are running version: bundled (2.0.34 compatible)

Now the images and XML file for the selected folder will be created:

swfobject.js: This file will not be included in the gallery - it is no jpg, png or gif file
viewer.swf: This file will not be included in the gallery - it is no jpg, png or gif file
readme.html: This file will not be included in the gallery - it is no jpg, png or gif file
index.html: This file will not be included in the gallery - it is no jpg, png or gif file
The directory you selected does not contain any jpg, png or gif files. Please upload them first (and ignore the rest of the page)!

    Yeah, we are done!
Edit captions for gallery: Drawing and Collage

Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/yasminsp/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-simpleviewer/wp-simpleviewer-admin.php on line 992

  2. Hi,

I am not sure how the structure looks like when you use Picasa...but in general I recommend to let the plugin do this (by following the instuctions) and then, if you want, change the images later on (while keeping their names and paths and XML file).
