Just figured out after reading some more posts that the wp_footer() function needs to be active on your theme, as mine of course was not. Everything works perfect now!

Susan - I also purchased the pro version. You configure the Options.as file to your liking - anything outside of that your going to need to configure the actionscript inside of Flash. When you are done editing the options.as file you need to open Simpleviewer.fla inside of the source file that Simpleviewer Pro came with. (e.g. simpleviewer_pro/source/simpleviewer.fla) Then simply rebuild the flash file. On Mac - CS4 simply go to File - Publish. Not sure about windows but I would bet this is the same. Then go back inside your simpleviewer_pro file and go to the "web" folder - take the 'viewer.fla' file out of there and replace it with the one on your current site. That should be it! You do not need to do anything else with the options.as file just leave it on your hard drive dont publish.

So simply put - edit options - republish - replace.

I'm sure this is a stupid question but I seem to be missing something. After installing WP-Simpleviewer I only customized the settings it came with in the admin panel. Everything works fine - however when I check that I want a link to thickbox with my images it only shows a link and does absolutely nothing when you click it. Am I supposed to install thickbox manually somewhere?

Only thing I can think of is that I did purchase Simpleviewer Pro but all I did was replace the .swf file. Wouldn't really think that would be the culprit. Wordpress v.2.8

Any help or suggestions would be great!

You can change the viewer.swf you got with the pro version with the one in the plugins directory to get rid of the link at the bottom, but besides that yo ucannot change any other setting with the plugin.

I guess this as file is for use with flash but why don't you just ask the ones that sold you the pro version?

Hello!

I've purchased the pro version of this plugin, but I don't see where I can set the extra configurations in the wordpress dashboard. If it's not possible, where do I set them?

Thanks!

Yes, you can...search for this line:

if (create_resized_image($filename_original, $filename_thumbnail, true, 65, $wp_simpleviewer_options['resizequality'])){	//thumbnails are suared with 65px width/height

...and replace the 65 by 90.

Hi, I used Simple View Pro to change my viewer.swf file so that my thumbnails would display as 90px x 90px instead of the default 65px x 65px. The problem is that the wp-simpleviewer plugin creates thumbnails which are 65px, so they end up getting blurry when they display at 90px. I was wondering what I need to do to make the plugin create 90px thumbnails instead of 65px ones.

Many thanks!

Hi,

I am only the creator of the plugin and I do not sell a pro version of the plugin. However you can get the pro version here http://www.airtightinteractive.com/simpleviewer/pro/ and you only have to change the swf file in the plugin with the one from the pro version (or the one you have created of course).

Hello there,
I'm interested in the pro version of the plugin. However, I'm using the plugin available for wordpress. Can I somehow integrate the Pro version? Maybe make a new viewer.swf from the .fla file I get when purchasing the Pro version?
