Right...you should upload the files to a directory like
/wp-content/plugins/wp-simpleviewer

Hi,

Please make sure that the files you placed on the server is actually a folder that is named wp-simpleviewer that contains actual files and not another wp-simpleviewer folder.

The common mistake is that you choose to unzip/unpack to a folder the directory tree looks like that:
wp-simpleviewer (folder) / wp-simpleviewer (another fodler) / actual plugin files.

I hope I was clear on that

Hi, i'm using Localhost and i can't find what u mention above and i am very stuck at making the NextGen Flashviewer work, the simpleviewer does load but with no image/thumbnail and i used this on the page [simpleviewer id="[svgallery id=3] but only this [nggallery id=3] works with the original nextgen gallery loaded and a blank simpleviewer, and bear in mind i am a super beginner so i would really appreciate if you can explain in a way that i can understand.

btw. great design for simpleviewer

Where can I find this:

'Go to the plugins admin page and select the folder from the list and create the thumbs and xml file for it.'

When I click on the Plugins, on the left hand side in my admin area, I do not see any folders. Just the activate/deactivate list of plugins. Am I in the wrong place? :P

Thanks!

If you want to take a look at: http://takuhii.x10hosting.com/portfolio/experimental/

This is PART of my portfolio, but the image is sitting over the text in the SimpleViewer window, I have no idea how this has happened, as the other part of my portfolio sits fine, it only seems to do it when it has to display part of a PORTRAIT image...

Anyone experienced anything similar, anyone know how to fix this, it would also seem that no matter what I set my colours to in the options, simpleviewer ignores them...

I'm at a loss here, I love the plugin though, I really want to keep using it...
